Holiday Inn New York City - Wall Street by IHG

For my friend’s first visit to NYC, this hotel was perfectly located for doing all the classic touristy things. The staff kindly upgraded us to a more spacious room on the 19th floor, and we really appreciated how quiet the hotel was throughout our stay. The staff were not only very kind but also impressively efficient—helping with luggage storage and retrieval, late check-in, and more. I was especially impressed by one staff member, Ms. Zaynah. In the middle of a chaotic check-in rush, she somehow managed to help us reclaim our luggage seamlessly. She expertly “played Tetris” with suitcases in the elevator and corridor, let us grab our bags ourselves, and sent us straight up to our room so we could rest immediately—without wasting a single minute. All of this, with a smile on her face the entire time. Truly unbelievable service.

We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage and not have to worry about it. We checked in and everyone was super nice and helpful. When we went to our room we noticed it was hot. The thermostat kept blowing out hot air so we called and they eventually sent people to check it out. We ended up getting changed to a different room. After that we had no issues! Staff greets you with a smile. Everyday our room was given enough towels and toilet paper. Everyday we were given waters and Ice so that was nice. The grab and go breakfast snacks were nice to have before heading out to explore the city. The cleaning staff did wonderful. The location is wonderful and we felt safe walking the streets.

Perfect for a quick stay in NYC. The staff are an absolute highlight - everyone I interacted with was thoughtful, kind, and professional.

First, this location is wonderful. Walking distance to the WTC, the subway, the end of the island to the ferry's is about a 10 min walk. So much around the neighborhood. Gift shops, bars, lounges, eateries, TJ Maxx, and a CVS. The rooms are small, but it is NYC, very clean. Housekeeping came everyday with new sheets, towels, and coffee. The bed was super comfy; I haven't slept better in years. The linens are top-notch! Staff is super friendly and professional. The ice machine was not working, and they accommodated us by getting us bags of ice from somewhere (I think it was the staff room). The only thing is I wish they had a small fridge and microwave in the room. It would be nice to be able to heat up leftovers and store cold drinks. This is the hotel I will choose again the next time I come to New York City. I LOVED it!!

Location and price are what should attract you to booking here. The rooms, whilst clean and standard are exactly what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. More than enough if you're just using it as a Base in which to travel the remainder of NYC. Location is the best place I have stayed geographically - very close to wall street, it is quiet and clean whilst still being 1 min walk from convenience stores, pharmacy, bars, pizza etc. Fulton station or the oculus are a couple of mins walk away and will get you anywhere on the underground across the city. Staff are genuinely helpful and always present at the desk (I get the feeling they work very hard and not rewarded enough!) I have been to NYC as a tourist on many occasions and would absolutely say this has been the best for Location in terms of travel across the city and walkable to both cheap pizza or high end restaurants on the docks. If you want a reasonably priced, quiet bed for onward travel across the city during your stay you really can't go far wrong.

The hotel is in a convenient location, close to the underground station. The rooms are on the small side, but they were clean and tidy. Staff were pleasant, though nothing particularly stood out. Overall, a decent stay for the price.

I had an exceptional 5-star experience during my recent vacation stay. The service was truly the highlight, earning a perfect 5/5 for being incredibly professional and attentive. I was also very pleased with the quality of the rooms and the convenient location, both of which were reliable and high-quality (4/5 each). It made for a fantastic, stress-free trip

Stayed here for business as I have to go to Water Street and Fidi. I recommend this for a quick 1-2 day 3 tops business trip if you have business at Wall Street etc. Rooms are super tight, you might not be able to fully open a full size luggage. I only had a backpack and it was fine. If you're a tourist and with kids, this might not be the best place for you unless you just want to stay overnight or 2 to see the Financial District. Rooms have outdated plugs they still have USB A, TV is old. Hot water is working as i stayed during the winter. They use Dove as their soap body wash and shampoo. There is a convenience store about 50 feet (15 meters) for water, snacks, soda etc.
